Importance of writing style while translating texts effectively

One does not have to be a linguist to be a good translator. However, translating text from one language to another is tricky business. Having sound knowledge of the source language and target language is imperative. Browse through translation agency Bahrain for seeking these services.

The translation job that one undertakes should not just be completed through duplication of the given words in the target language. Order of the words or grammatical constructions of the source language to the target language should be changed effectively. To illustrate, in some texts one writes the verb or doing word at the start of the sentence, some in the middle of the construction while some at the end. There are a number of translation company Dubai in the world for people to avail the service.

One does not have to use every single word mentioned in the source material. The word should be included only if it is essential and cannot be done away with in the target language. For example, one may write in English The ship sank lower in the water, whereas in the language in which the translation is made the words "in the water" can be done away with because the words "sink" and "ship" already indicate that the ship was sinking in "water".

Also, do not be afraid of using more words in your translation than in the original. Although in journalism you should aim to keep your sentences short and crisp, this must not be allowed to interfere with the clarity of the ideas you are trying to communicate.

Summary:
Translating text from one language to another is tricky business. Having sound knowledge of the source language and target language is imperative.
